Perform with Mayer's classic sonics

Equipped on this model is a trio of 635JM "S" pickups, custom-designed electronics made to capture the essence of vintage '60s-era guitars. These have been created in conjunction with John Mayer himself and promise full-bodied, bell-like chimes and overdrives that are just perfect for blues tones. With staggered pole pieces and a balanced output across all three pickups, you can create rich, complex sounds that will captivate your audiences.

The tonal qualities of these pickups are truly exceptional, with a warmth and clarity that's simply unmatched. Their single-coil design creates a unique harmonic that is both dynamic and articulate, delivering notes that sing and sustain for days. From "Free Fallin'" to "Love on the Weekend", or any other John Mayer classic, the 635JM "S" pickups will provide you with a richness and depth that's difficult to find elsewhere. You'll feel like a true rockstar as you move effortlessly from one song to the next.

Its playability is a wonderland

Designed the player in mind, the John Mayer Silver Sky boasts features that ensure exceptional playability. The 635JM carve and 8.5” radius make it comfortable and effortless to move around the neck, providing greater control. This is particularly useful for complex chord progressions or intricate riffs that require a lot of finger movement.

Additionally, the double-acting truss rod and synthetic bone nut ensure perfect intonation across all twenty-two frets, resulting in a great sound no matter where you are on the neck. What's more, its two-point steel tremolo system facilitates smooth and effortless vibrato, with the vintage-style tuners keeping the strings in tune even after prolonged use. These features combine seamlessly to create a guitar that is not only visually stunning but also incredibly functional and easy to play.

Everything’s good except the fret board on top is to narrow. My fingers are touching the others when playing e, a , d chords.

Great beginner guitar

I have been playing for 33 years and teach part time. My daughter kept asking me when she could start. Picked this one up for Christmas. Really nice beginner guitar, and a sharp finish. The Maple Fretboard has a nice feel
